What
is shared hosting?
Shared hosting (virtual hosting) is a method that servers
such as webservers use to host more than one domain name on
the same computer, sometimes on the same IP address. It so
called because resources on a server are shared between customers.
In Shared Hosting a customer get FTP access to a server for
uploading websites files (In VPS hosting, customer gets SSH
access). Customer also gets End-user Control Panel access
to add/configure domains and creating email accounts etc.
For any user permissions, customer opens a Support Ticket.

Can I host
more than one independent website?
All our plans allow you to host unlimited
websites. All these websites are managed using
one Hosting Control Panel (cPanel). cPanel allows you to create
multiple mailboxes for each of these websites and enable spam
feature individually. cPanel also allows you to activate various
features for each of these websites.

How can I send/receive my emails?
You can send/receive your emails from desktop application like
Outlook Express. You can also access your mail using any of
WebMail clients viz. Horde, SquirrelMail, RoundCube by visiting
a url similar to http://yourdomain.com/webmail/ or http://yourdomain.com:2095/
but with your domain names.

Why can't I
log into my cPanel or webmail?
Most office buildings as well as hotels have a firewall setup
to block access to the ports required for cPanel and webmail
to load. These ports are 2086 and 2087. They might possibly
be able to remove these blocks from their firewall.

Can I
get additional FTP accounts with my Hosting Plan?
Yes, you can create ftp-sub accounts in the Control Panel
for free.

After I sign-up,
can I change my billing period, payment method and hosting
package?
You can change your billing period between 1-month, 3-month,
6-month or 1-year any time. To change your billing period,
payment method or hosting package please create a ticket in
your billing CP or write to sales@zeohost.com
.

How can i pay
for domain name registration. How long does it take?
We provide domain name registration for ZeoHost.com hosting
clients only. If you don't have an hosting account with us
- please register.
Register your domain here domains.zeohost.com,
then open a ticket with domain name that you just registered
in your ZeoHost.com billing control panel
(http://zeohost.com/orders/clogin.php?lang=english),
and you receive an invoice for domain registration that should
be paid. After that the registration will be completed. It
may take upto 24 hours.
